Faith. Fun. Family.

As Hurricane Harvey made his way into the Gulf Coast, the LSU campus closed and cancelled classes to keep the students safe. Usually, that means the campus students rejoice at a day of sleeping in and catching up on Netfli…er, assignments. This day was a bit different. The Bridge Campus Ministry was all set to represent at the LSU Student Involvement Fair. With hopes a bit dashed, the students waited for news of a rescheduled date. Only a couple days later, they got news of the new date the following week. Though this new date prevented some of the campus ministry disciples from serving at the table, GOD MOVED!!

Last week, nearly 200 LSU students learned about The Bridge Church | Baton Rouge. The students, most incoming freshman, connected with the disciples at the table in deep conversations about doctrine while also discussing dreams and fun plans on the calendar for the remainder of the semester. From cups, to lanyards, pens and candies, students at LSU were excited to learn there was a fun and faithful campus ministry at their fingertips, meeting to worship God on Sundays ON CAMPUS. Keep the Bridge Campus Ministry in your prayers as they embrace more opportunities like this throughout the semester. They’re out there letting their generation know where they can find The Truth here in Baton Rouge. Geaux Tigers! Geaux God!
